My Basic Brow Routine! PLUS Review on EB Original Pencil in Brown! :)

It's been two weeks since I posted my Review on Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara, and now I'm back again for some basic brow tutorial! 
A lot of my friends have been asking me how I do my brows everyday and so I decided to blog about my basic brow routine! I had my brows threaded last Nov 2012 and since then, I use tweezers to pluck small excess hairs as a weekly routine. It keeps brows tidy and groomed! I also use small scissors to trim long hairs. Be careful in plucking though, because you might prevent hairs from growing PERMANENTLY! Also with the scissors, be careful in trimming them, because if you trim them too much, it'll appear BALD in one spot just like mine huhu! *sobs* . 
I think I don't have perfect brows, so the remedy to it would be brow shading! I'm not yet an expert in grooming brows, so I hope you like it! :)

Things You Will Need:
• Eyebrow Pencil( Mine is EB Original in Brown )
• Brow & Lash Comb Brush ( Mine is from Careline's Brush Set ) - For Blending
• Spoolie ( I Use An Empty Avon Supercurlacious Mascara in Brown as a Fixing Gel )
• Concealer ( I used Shawill Hide-the-Blemish Magic Concealer since the shade is lighter than my skin tone )

• Concealer Brush(Optional) - For concealing tiny hairs above and underneath the brows

        My Bare Brows For Reference :)

 STEP 1: Using a brow pencil, draw a line at the bottom of your brows. Make sure the end of the line you drew connects to your lower lash line. This will give a more sleeker look. 

STEP 2: Next, draw a line at the upper brow line.

STEP 3: Fill in the rest of the brows. Make sure the outline of the upper & lower brow line is more darker than the middle of the brows. But, if you think you went too harsh on shading it, don't worry as we can blend it later to give a more lighter effect. :)

STEP 4: Using a brow & lash comb brush, blend away! Make sure you don't blend too harsh or it will ruin the outline of the brows. 

STEP 5: Tame the brows by combing it with the use of Brow & Lash Comb. 

STEP 6: For a more polished, tamed brows, I use an empty mascara's wand as a fixing gel! It makes the brow pencil's color stay for up to 6 hours! (Depends on weather conditions) :)

LEFT BROW COMPLETE! Ü 

Do the same step-by-step procedure on your right eyebrow! ( I always think my right brow is more perfectly groomed than my left brow ugh! :O )

Outlining...

Voila! RIGHT BROW COMPLETE! Ü

( OPTIONAL STEP ) : Using a highlighting concealer & a concealer brush, apply concealer above and beneath the eyebrows to conceal small excess hairs. It also works as a highlighter for me after setting it with powder. :)

My Verdict on EB Original Pencil in Brown :

  I bought this brow pencil back when I was just starting to be a makeup junkie. Since I'm a beginner, I ought to buy one from a local brand and luckily I wasn't dissapointed in buying it. I'm almost half-through with these pencil, and I will be trying more new ones! 

So here's what I like about this product:

• Lasts for up to 6 hours( Depends on weather condition - if it's hot outside, it tends to fade away because of sweat which I don't like! But if in an air-conditioned room or the weather is humid, it stays longer! )

• Cheap - costs only P80 i think? Can't remember. Sorry :)

• I bought this last November & still have it with me! ( I use it everyday! )

And here's what I don't like about this product:

• Not smudge-proof! So make sure you don't touch your brows often! ( Accidents occur ) Ü

• Wish they have more shades! :/
